CAPTEK Softgel International, a California-based contract manufacturer of softgel and gummy supplements, has made two executive appointments as the company continues to strengthen its leadership team. Brent Moore has joined the company as COO, and Paul Anton recently joined as chief financial officer. CAPTEK is a portfolio company of Swander Pace Capital.

Moore brings more than 20 years of operational leadership and manufacturing expertise to CAPTEK, most recently serving as Global CEO of Freemen Nutra Group LLC, where he led the company’s growth strategy and operational expansion across the nutraceutical sector. Prior to that, Moore was executive vice president of operations at Merical, and earlier in his career, worked in various roles, including vice president of supply chain and procurement at Pharmavite.

Anton joined CAPTEK earlier this year from Calavo Growers. He brings extensive experience in financial leadership within the health and wellness industry, with a focus on building teams and systems to support sustainable expansion.
